Tralee cinema to host screenings for deaf and children with autism

The cinema in Tralee is among 22 Omniplex outlets nationwide beginning a series of screenings for the deaf and the hard-of-hearing as well as well as sensory screenings for children with autism. Omniplex Logo The initiative is part of the Omniplex’s social responsibility programme aimed at providing access to the cinema for people with disabilities. Tonight the cinemas, including Tralee, will show a subtitled screening of ‘Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation.’ The children’s programme begins next weekend with early bird showings of Disney Pixar’s ‘Inside Out.’ These will be joint subtitled and sensory screenings and can be attended by children with hearing impairments and those with autism.
