A Tralee based agricultural tax consultant says thousands of milk suppliers will be targeted for Kerry Co-op tax arrears.
Already letters were sent to milk suppliers from Revenue demanding payment of tax arrears on Kerry patronage shares.
The Irish Independent reports that hundreds of Kerry farmers have received the letters seeking income tax on part of the 600,000 patronage shares issued by the co-op during 2011,2012 and 2013.
Revenue values each share issued in 2011 at €65, €75 in 2012 and €90 1n 2013.
