DIPLOMA IN RADIO PRODUCTION

The FAS-City & Guilds Radio Broadcasting Foundation Course begins in June 2012 at Radio Kerry Training. FAS Course Code: ET 41Z. This 8 week full time course is a designed as a basic primer for the exciting world of radio production and for further study.

The will be followed by the FAS-City & Guilds Diploma in Radio Production (Media Techniques 7601) which will commence in early September 2012. FAS Course Code: ET 283. This full time course will run for 40 weeks – 36 weeks at Radio Kerry and 4 week on industry placement.

The aim of our course is to train candidates in radio content production, programme presentation and in-studio operations. There are 18 places available.

Training Style

Our “total immersion” training style means that you ‘learn by doing, training through production of radio content, online broadcasting and live projects for Radio Kerry.
