Foundation in Radio Course
The FAS Foundation in Radio Course is an intensive 8 week training programme which offers the learner an introduction to radio presentation and production. The course is certified by City and Guilds and offers progression opportunities to the 40 week programme in September.

The course begins on June 21st.

40 WEEK FAS RADIO COURSE ANNOUNCED FOR SEPTEMBER 2010
Radio Production Course
The FAS-City & Guilds Diploma in Radio Production (Media Techniques 7501) will commence on September 20th 2010.

This full time course will run for 40 weeks – 36 weeks at Radio Kerry and 4 week on industry placement. The aim of our course is to train candidates in radio content production, programme presentation and in-studio operations.

There are 18 places available.

Unit 301 Media Industries: Organisation, Regulation and Practice
Unit 302 Researching, Recording and Presenting Information
Unit 303 Radio Journalism Techniques
Unit 307 Radio Studio Production
Unit 309 Commercial Radio Production

Our “total immersion” training style means that you ‘learn by doing, training through production of radio content, online broadcasting and live projects for Radio Kerry.
