Traders and Town Council disagree on purchase of new stalls

The row is continuing between traders and Tralee Town Council over the introduction of uniform stalls for the new Town Square. The square is due for completion at the end of the month and before the casual traders can re-enter it council officials want them to purchase new stalls. However traders disagree because they feel the French marquees being suggested are too expensive and also unsuitable. James Clifford Town Square Project Manager says the traders will return to the square as soon as this disagreement has been resolved.
