Three schools in Kerry have been given the go-ahead from the Department of Education to make improvements. Killahan National School in Abbeydorney has been approved to create a staffroom; Scoil Chaitlin in Ventry will build new toilets. Sliabh a Mhadra National School in Ballyduff has received permission to compete mechanical works. Senator Marie Moloney and Deputy Brendan Grifin have welcomed the announcement.
