Three Kerry graduates from new Commis Chef Programme

Initiated last November, the programme was designed to respond to the growing skills need identified in the hospitality sector. Nationwide 190 people completed the programme, which was delivered in 12 locations including the Just Cooking Cookery School in Kerry. Anna Kurdziel from Killorglin; Deirdre Donohoe of Headford; and John Farrell from Ballybunion completed the course in Kerry, along with three participants from Cork. The graduates can now progress onto the Culinary Apprenticeship, currently being developed in conjunction with the Irish Hotels Federation and the Restaurants Association of Ireland.
