Third high profile figure in Fianna Fáil in North Kerry resigns

fianna fail   Fianna Fail in north Kerry is in total disarray. That’s according to a North Kerry councillor who’s resigned from the party becoming the third high profile figure to do so in less than a week. Listowel Town Councillor Tom Walsh says he will run as an independent in May’s local elections. Councillor Walsh failed to get selected to run on the party ticket, he lost out to fellow sitting town councillor Jimmy Moloney and county councillor John Brassil. Former senator Dan Kiely and Tralee Town Councillor Johnnie Wall also resigned from Fianna Fáil when they failed to be added to the party ticket. Tom Walsh says the reaction he has been getting on the ground is positive.
