Thieves target car of sign language interpreter from Kerry State Commemoration

A woman who was the sign language interpreter at the 1916 State Ceremony in Kerry has been the target of thieves.


Catherine White from the Deaf Resource Centre made a return visit to Banna Strand yesterday between 4.30 and 5 pm with three friends to show them where the historic event had taken place They placed four bags into the boot of the car which contained a substantial amount of cash, bank cards and shopping. One of the visitors who came America had his passport stolen in the incident.
