Theft accused changed his clothes before stealing from supermarket

A man accused of stealing over €800 in groceries from a Glenbeigh supermarket changed his clothes each time before going into the shop. Killorglin Courthouse Mark Donnelly with addresses in Glenbeigh and at Farnes, Castlemaine, is accused of 12 counts of theft from Sheahan’s Centra on January 10th and 11th this year. His solicitor Padraig O’Connell told Killorglin District Court Mr Donnelly changed his clothes in the belief he would not be identified. Judge James O’Connor remanded him in custody with consent to bail to the December 17th sitting of the court, warning him he would have to pay compensation to the shop owner.
