Texting while driving increases crash risk 23-fold

Ireland South MEP Deirdre Clune is appealing to people to put the phone away when driving. The Fine Gael MEP says Road Safety Authority studies show texting – while driving – makes you 23 times more likely to crash. Making a call, while driving, makes you four time more likely to crash.
