TD says he’s optimistic for future of Kilmoyley Post Office

An PostA Kerry TD says he’s been told by An Post that it will offer a six month contract for the running of Kilmoyley Post Office. There’ve been concerns over its future  following the retirement of the postmistress and the sale of her business. Fine Gael TD Brendan Griffin says An Post has told him that the new owners of the shop are to be issued with a six month temporary contract to operate the post office. Mr Griffin says the contract will be reviewed after that time. John O’Sullivan is one of the new owners of the shop in Kilmoyley which is attached to the post office; he’s meeting with An Post later today. Deputy Griffin says he’s optimistic.
