Over 31 boxes are now (10am) open out of 212 in the Kerry General Election Count. IMG_2504 The count is taking place in the Killarney Sports and Leisure Centre. 16 candidates are vying for 5 seats including five outgoing TDs. Very early tallies are indicating both Michael and Danny Healy-Rae could be in line to take two seats. Michael Healy-Rae is polling very strongly all over the county including well into north Kerry. John Brassil is polling strongly for Fianna Fail as is Martin Ferris. Estimated quota is over 13,300.
