Syrian and Iraqi refugees due to arrive in Kerry next month

Syrian flagSyrian and Iraqi refugees are due to arrive in Kerry in December. 11 families made up of 45 people will be accommodated in the county. The national resettlement programme for refugees will see up to 17 more families arrive in Kerry in early 2016. The inter-agency group established to plan for their arrival is meeting fortnightly and Kerry County Council says progress on securing accommodation in Tralee and Killarney is being made.
