Large numbers of football fans travelling to Dublin this Sunday for the National League Football finals, has resulted in trains to the capital being completely booked out. The regular 7am train from Tralee to Dublin on Sunday morning, has been booked out for over a week. Irish Rail then added an extra train service to the schedule, also departing Tralee on Sunday morning, and travelling directly to Dublin, with no change at Mallow. However, this train was almost completely booked out within hours of becoming available. A spokeswoman for Irish Rail says they are monitoring the demand for the train service from Kerry to Dublin for Sunday’s game in Croke Park, and may add on an extra service. She says there are still tickets available for trains to Dublin from Kerry on Saturday.
