Stobart Air considering sale to investment fund

The airline which operates Aer Lingus’ regional services – including the Kerry-Dublin route – is reported to be considering a sale to an investment fund in the New Year. Airplane cabin The Irish Times says that Stobart Air’s biggest shareholder, Invesco, is considering selling its 85 percent stake in the company. Stobart Air is expected to carry 100,000 passengers in 2016.
