Pupils at Scoil an Fheirteáraigh enjoyed a very special visit from a Star Wars legend yesterday. Chewbacca, the seven foot wookie of the original series and also of Star Wars Episode VII, paid a special visit to the school much to the delight and excitement of the children. 
Filming for Star Wars has been underway at Ceann Sibéal near Ballyferriter since last Wednesday. 
Children from the school sent scrapbooks and Star Wars artwork to the film crew on site. The crew were impressed with the children’s artwork and arranged a secret visit from Chewbacca to the school.
