Stady uptake of Farm Partnership Scheme in Kerry.

Teagasc says there has been a steady take up of their Farm Partnership Scheme in Kerry. The project which is in operation for the last two years offers a son or daughter the opportunity to purchase their own quota before accepting ownership of their parent`s farm. The project also allows farmers the chance to operate two farms as one operation to save on running costs. Ben Roche of Teagasc says the scheme is being embraced by farmers across the board.
