St Finnian’s patients to be relocated to most appropriate accommadation

Patients at St Finnians in Killarney will be moved to the most appropriate accommodation to suit their needs according to the clinical director at the facility. The Department of Health took the decision to close St Finnians as it is over 150 years old. It`s to shut in the next two or three years and patients will be relocated to other facilities on a phased basis. Some patients are to be moved into nursing home care.
