Security has been beefed up at Aintree this year, with the action underway this afternoon on the second day of the Grand National meeting. Tens of thousands of racegoers will come through the turnstiles over the remaining two days, with Merseyside Police very visible on the course. More than 140-thousand people are expected at Aintree during the three days of the meeting.
