Rathmore and Dr.Crokes must replay their East Kerry Junior Football League Division 1 Semi-final after drawing last night while Tarbert are celebrating out North Kerry way. Tarbert won the North Kerry bobs under 16 football league division 2 final on a scoreline of 3-11 to ballylongford/asdee’s 2-10. 2 Michael Kelleher goals and another from Michael kissane meant Tarbert led 3-4 to 1-4 at the break, Paudie Moroney gaoling for the losers.The sides were level by the 15th minute of the second half, 3-6 to 2-9. Eoin Kennedy put Ballylongford/Asdee in front a minute later but Tarbert finished stronger and 2 magnificent points from Stephen O`Connor sealed their victory. In the North Kerry McCarthy`s insurance brokers junior football league last night Duagh defeated Moyvane 1-10 to 6 points in division 2. In Div 3 Ballylongford beat St.Senans 1-7 to 7 points andClounmacon had a 2-10 to 10 points victory against Beale.Tonight, the Bobs under 16 division 1 league final sees John Mitchell`s and Ballydonohue do battle in Clounmacon at 7.30. In east Kerry last night, Rathmore and Dr.Crokes finished 1-14 apiece after extra-time in the junior football league div 1 semi-final. Rathmore were ahead by 7 points to 4 when Jonathan Sparling’s long range effort went all the way to the Rathmore net and Crokes finished the half stronger to lead 1-6 to 0-7 at the break. Cokes led by 5 points with just 8 minutes to go. However, Rathmore responded, with Brendan Nagle gaoling and Michael A Kelleher hitting the equalising point in injury time to leave it 1-11 each at the end of normal time. Karl McMahon`s fine point in the second period of extra-time looked like the winner for crokes but Patrick reen struck twice for Rathmore before Jonathan Sparling’s last gap equaliser saved Crokes.
