Ireland beat Jamaica by a goal to nil in last night’s final game of theUnity Cup. Graham Barrett’s 23rd minute goal handed Brian Kerr’s men the victory over the Reggae boys at Charlton Athletics’ Valley ground. It was the Coventry City midfielder’s second goal in his four appearanceswith the senior side. The result means Ireland finish runners up in the competition behind Nigeria who beat both teams earlier in the week The Irish squad will now travel to Holland for Saturday’s internationalfriendly with the Netherlands.
