Kerry have been drawn against Down in the first round of the 2013 Christy Ring Cup.
The Kingdom will be away for the game on Saturday May 4th.
Round 2, winner against winner and loser against loser, goes ahead one week later. From those matches, the winner progresses to the semi-finals, the loser must play in ¼ Finals.
In the other first round games in the competition Derry host Wicklow, Meath entertain Armagh and Kildare face Mayo.
The Christy Ring ¼ Finals are on May 18th, the semi-finals on the 25th and the Final is fixed for Saturday June 8th.
