GAA McNamee award for "The Greatest Day".
Radio Kerry's "The Greatest Day" series has won a GAA McNamee award, presented annually in recognition of outstanding contributions made in the area of media and communications.
The series has won "Best Local Radio Programme", with the citation reading "A superb presentation of one of the greatest achievement lists in Irish Sport. Very well researched, edited and presented, the programmes were enhanced by interviews and facts that gave an insight into the triumphs of the early, troubled part of the 20th century, as well as documenting the glory days of more modern times."
The Greatest Day is 1 of 3 Kerry winners.
Dr Crokes receive the "Best Modern Technology Innovation Award" for it's web broadcast of club matches last year.
The Hall of Fame Award goes to Micheál Ó Sé, 2 time All-Ireland winner with Kerry and formerly of Raidió na Gaeltachta.
