Speculation continues on government formation ahead of Dáil sitting again tomorrow

Simon CoveneyA senior Fine Gael acting Minister says everyone elected to the 32nd Dail has a responsibly to contribute to the construction of a stable government. It comes as negotiations to form a government continue. The 32nd Dail is due to sit again tomorrow, however, a Government will not be formed. It’s expected there will be a Fine Gael led minority government, although both Fine Gael and Fianna Fail are continuing talks with independents. Speaking in Dundalk today, Simon Coveney says he believes the electorate don’t want to return to the polls.
