RoadLong awaited improvement works, along a prominent stretch of road in North Kerry, have finally been given the green light. Acting Diaspora Minister Jimmy Deenihan has confirmed that pavement works are to commence on the N69 at Tarbert on April 8th. The works – which will take ten weeks to complete – shall begin at the 50km speed limit on the Limerick Road, continuing to the Swanky Bar, which is situated at the road junction leading to the ferry port. According to Minister Deenihan, Transport Infrastructure Ireland has made special funding available for these works.
