The Jeanie Johnston could be sailing to Spain next month. The company is looking at a trip to La Coruna after the tour around Ireland finishes in three weeks time. If there’s enough interest, the famine ship could spend most of September on the Spanish voyage. Leaving on September third, the itinerary set out would see the Jeanie arrive in La Coruna five days later. After a five-day stayover, the ship would return on September 18th. In the meantime, the Jeanie sails to Cobh tomorrow for next week-end. From there, it’s onto Kinsale and then Dun Laoghaire.
