That is according to a Hollywood blogger Jason Ward who runs the website The Sunday Times reports that Mr Ward says the reason for the recreation is that “filming at Skellig Michael was just too complicated for environmental reasons”. However the creation of the Skellig Michael sets suggests that it might have more screen time in the sequel to the Force Awakens according to Ward. The recent Star Wars film which featured Skellig Michael has broke all kinds of records since its release, including the fastest film to gross $1 billion in 12 days.
