A competition which aims to address racism through education is now open to entries. ‘Show Racism The Red Card’ is calling on all schools and youth services in Kerry to register for the anti-racism creative competition 2016. The event involves young people developing creative messages about racism and intergration using written, visual and audiovisual means. To get involved, schools and youth services can register to recieve a free DVD education pack. The closing date for applications is Friday, 8th April, and the competition culminates in an awards ceremony in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin. Further information is available at www.the-red-card.ie.
