Seven people were waiting on trolleys yesterday at the emergency department of Kerry General Hospital. The figures are compiled by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation who carry out daily checks in emergency departments all over the country. The HSE doesn’t dispute the figures. Nationally there were 297 people on trolleys yesterday.
