Seat belts to be installed in school buses

A Kerry Labour Deputy says the Minister for Educations response to the school bus shortage is unacceptable. Mary Hannifin says no child will be left without transport next month. Seat belts are to be installed on school buses and three for two seating arrangement will also be abolished. However Deputy Breda Moynihan Cronin says some children who are outside of their school catchment areas may have their bus service removed from September, and this will leave hundreds of children in Kerry without a bus to school. Deputy Moynihan Cronin says there is a simple solution.
