Residents groups in Tralee disagree on laneway closure

A residents group in Tralee says the closure of a controversial laneway will not solve the problem of anti-social behavior in the area. Noelle O Connor from the Gallows Field Residents Association says that they have not yet received an incident report from the Gardai in relation to anti-social behavior in the ajoining Cahermoneen estate.Residents from Cahermoneen feel the walkway is a magnet for anti social behavior. Gardai have also recommended the closure of the walkway. She believes CCTV cameras should be installed in the area to combat the problem.
