Renewed appeal for information on abduction of man from south Kerry

Gardaí and Crimestoppers have renewed their appeal about the abduction of a man from south Kerry 25 years ago. Charles Brooke Picard   On the 26th of April 1991, Charles Brooke Pickard was bundled into his navy Transit van and driven away at White Strand, Castlecove by a number of males; the van was later recovered, but he hasn’t been seen since. Charles Brooke Pickard grew up in Leeds, but moved to Castlecove in 1983 where he lived with his wife Penney and children. When he disappeared, his sons were aged 11, 7, and 5, while his daughter Lisa was 15 – she died three years later in a crash. His abduction will feature on Crimecall on RTE1 television tonight in order to renew the appeal for witnesses, as Gardaí believe there are people with information about the incident and location of his remains. Superintendent Flor Murphy is hoping during the passage of time, that people’s allegiances may have changed, and that someone will give information in order to recover his remains and provide closure for the family: [audio_player src=””]
