Melbourne Rose Christine McGrattan was among 23 Roses selected at the Rose of Tralee Regional Festival in Portlaois at the weekend. Christine will go forward to the televised stages of the International Festival in the Dome with Dáithí Ó Sé next August. She will join the other Australian Roses as well as Roses from Kerry, Cork, Dublin, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Europe and the Middle East at the Rose Gathering in Tralee.
