A public meeting in Killarney town is to focus on crime in the county. There were over 200 burglary and related offences recorded in the Kerry Garda Division in the first six months of the year. The meeting taking place in the Gleneagle Hotel in Killarney tonight at 8pm is being hosted by Fianna Fail General Election candidate Norma Moriarty. The county councillor says there is a real sense that law and order has not been a priority for this Government. Fianna Fail has put forward a range of legislation in the criminal justice area to reform the system.
