Bernadette Ní Riada is sick and tired of the recent mockery and aspersions cast upon the Kerry accent, particularly the accent of older men from rural areas. All this, her pride in being from Kerry and her love, in particular, for her father inspired her to write a poem in praise of Kerry men.
