Post mortems to be carried out on two women who died in Inch

Post mortems will be carried out later on two women who died after being rescued in Inch last night.Kerry General Hospital, Tralee The women, aged in their 60s and 70s and believed to be nuns, were swimming at Inch Strand when they got into difficulties at approximately 7 o’clock. They are understood to be from Dublin and were holidaying in the area. The alarm was raised  by a third woman who was with them. They were rescued from the water by lifeguards and later airlifted by the Shannon Coastguard Helicopter and taken to Kerry General Hospital, but died a short time later.
