Poor staffing levels at Tralee General Hospital.

Tralee General Hospital is listed as having the worst ratio of doctors to beds of any large hospital in the republic. Tralee general is listed 16th on the table with just 29 doctors per 100 beds. Staff patient ratio levels in Tralee General Hospital are described as poor in the survey.The number of nurses in the facilility is described as way below average and is listed second last on a list for large hospitals. Its not all bad news for Tralee, inpatient waiting times are not bad and waiting times are described as short at the facility. In a statement the Southern Health Board says since the information was compiled a number of staffing announcements have been made to both Tralee and Cork University Hospital.
