Platini Not To Challenge Blatter

uefa crestIt’s understood UEFA president Michel Platini has told delegates he won’t challenge Sepp Blatter for the presidency of world football’s governing body, FIFA. The head of the European organisation withdrew his support for Blatter’s campaign in the summer. Platini wants to continue with UEFA, and doesn’t want world football’s top job. The draw for the group stages of the Champions league will be made at around 5 o’clock today. Arsenal and Chelsea are in the top group of seeds while Manchester City are in pot 2 and Liverpool are in pot 3.
