Cork Kerry Tourism has conceded to being passive in their promotion of the Kerry area in recent times. This follows critism from hoteliers in the county who accused Cork Kerry tourism of inertia in the face of falling tourist numbers to the region.The group now hopes to address the balance and have plans to rebrand the area in the coming weeks. Pat Chawke of the Irish Hotels Federation has suggested that a facilitator should be appointed to the area, john Ahern the new Chairman of Cork Kerry Tourism agrees with this.
