A cultural market fair and a pageant celebrating Europe in colour are among the plans for Killarney on May 1st. The South Kerry capital is twinned with the Czech Republic as part of the celebrations to mark accession day.The Czech Ambassador to Ireland Joseph Pavlos says there are many similarities between the two countries. Speaking at the launch of the programme for May the first he said his county will need the support of places like Killarney in the future.
