Barrow House has exceeded its guide price at auction by over €40,000. The period property in north Kerry was built around 1800 by the Collis family and has had a number of owners since then. It is set on just over two acres overlooking Barrow Harbour and includes a two storey coach house. The eight bedroom house had a guide price of €300,000 but sold for €342,000 when the gavel came down at the auction in Cork handled by Douglas Newman Good in Cork and Tralee. The identity of the new owner is unknown.
