Pensioner accused of historic sexual and indecent assault in Kerry sent forward for trial

Killarney District Court A pensioner accused of nine counts of historic sexual and indecent assault at a location in Kerry has been sent forward for trial. The man who cannot be named for legal reasons is facing two sets of charges relating to two women dating back 40 and 25 years respectively. Killarney District Court heard complaints were first made to Gardai in 2010 and 2011. Judge James O’Connor heard the book of evidence in the case has now been served on the accused man whom he sent forward for trial to the next sittings of the Circuit Court.
