The Manager of Darby O`Gills in Killarney has defended the town after criticism from Cork Kerry Tourism that it has a plastic paddy image. Pat Gill says the town has very modern facilities and has moved away from the donkey and bag of turf days. He said that if guide books have a negative image of Killarney then it`s a marketing issue. He also warned against becoming too sterile.
