OPW to hold competition for new permits for Skellig trips

Responding to a Dáil question from Deputy Michael Healy-Rae, OPW minister Simon Harris said his office is preparing a competition process to issue new boat permits. There are a number of legal issues to be resolved, following which expressions of interest will be sought through public advertising.
