NPWS pleads with public to stay away from Killarney National Park

The National Parks and Wildlife Service is pleading with the public to stay away from Killarney National Park today. Killarney National Park 100s of trees were felled during yesterday’s hurricane force winds, the worst storm in living memory. NPWS staff are clearing trees and debris from pathways today and hope to get the park open to the public as soon as possible. In the meantime Regional Manager with the NPWS Pat Dawson is asking the public to stay away: [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/18465/medium/”]
