North Kerry man convicted of poaching salmon.

A North Kerry man has been fined 750 euro and ordered to pay 540 euro expenses after he was convicted of poaching salmon. James Hennessey of Kilocrim Listowel was convicted on three counts, one of fishing with a net, possession of a net and possession of salmon. He was one of a number of fishery convictions at Listowel District Court. Bartholomew Maher of Irrabeg Lixnaw and Tom Allen of Clogher drive Lixnaw were both fined 750 euro and ordered to pay 540 euro expenses each for possessing a salmon and net and fishing unlawfully.
