No cases of puppy farming in Kerry in 2016

There were no cases of puppy farming in County Kerry last year.
Inspector Kerrie Ryan of KSPCA says there’s an epidemic of people looking for specific breeds of dogs and therefore dog breeders are catering to these needs.
Although the KSCPA received a number of reports of suspicious activity, each case turned out to be legal establishments.
Kerrie Ryan says that puppy farming is more of a problem in other counties across the country.
