It’s not fair that young girls feel too embarrassed to go out and meet with their friends because of their teeth.
That’s according to Independent TD Danny Healy Rae who raised the issue of orthodontic waiting lists in Kerry in the Dáil.
Deputy Healy Rae said it’s emerged young girls and boys are currently facing a four to five year wait for orthodontic treatments, including braces, in the county.
