A woman whose family had to be evacuated from her Tralee home due to flooding hopes an assessment of the area will be carried out in the New Year.
Pamela Roche was among six families evacuated from the Bruach na hAbhainn estate when waters became too high on Saturday evening.
Pamela and her family who are local authority tenants have been put up in the Manor West Hotel by Kerry County Council.
Pamela says she hopes to return to her home for Christmas.
