« BackKerry food producer wins gold medal in Tasmania

A Kerry man has been awarded two gold medals for food produce in Tasmania.

John Slye – who’s originally from Dingle and now lives in Sydney, Australia – is the founder of food company ‘The River Kitchen’.

Two of his products – his Salted Caramel Sauce and Lemon Curd – have each won a gold medal at the Royal Hobart Show in Tasmania.

The Hobart Show, founded in 1821, is widely respected in food industry circles throughout the southern hemisphere.
